Due to its location at a height of almost 1000 meters and overlooking the valley of the river Doux, Nozières offers a choice of hiking trails in unspoilt nature that overlook either the Gerbier de Jonc mountain, the Mezenc or the Mont Blanc as well as the valleys of the rivers Doux and Daronne. The Ancient Convent is at a crossroad of hiking trails that the local tourist office considers to be very special in the area. You can either choose to make short walks that are convenient to children as well or to spend a day long hiking demanding a bit more training and experience

Ready to leave for a hike with a map and a lunch in your rugsack (we provide both) you will encounter space, the intimicy of nature, wild animals (there is a lot of deer) but also the remains of our rural inheritance and the kind reception of the local population.
