Coming from Paris the easiest way to reach Nozières is by taking the motorway (Autoroute du Sud) as far as Tain l'Hermitage. >From there continue to Tournon and Lamastre. In Lamastre a small road across the river will take you up to Nozieres after 9 kms approximately. The 'ancien couvent' is hiding behind the church.prendre St Peray puis Lamastre, Nozières
Coming from the South take the Valence South (sud) exit and continue to St Peray and Lamastre. It is not recommended to believe the itineraries suggested by certain Internet sites as they present distances in kilometres. This is not the traditional way of measuring distances in the Ardèche. A true 'Ardechois' most certainly will calculate minutes rather than kilometres to reach a destination. Besides that he is convinced of the fact that your average speed will never exceed 45 km per hour when driving in the Ardèche.
